SCUDERIA DEL PORTELLO - THE DYNAMIC MUSEUM
When Luca Grandori first posed the question to a small circle of Alfa Romeo enthusiasts in the early 1980s, it seemed almost absurd: why not return the original Carrera Panamericana cars to Mexico and race them again? The idea persisted, and by 1982, Scuderia del Portello was founded as an official racing team, with its first headquarters in Portello on Via Traiano and then within the directional center of the Arese plant. The mission was elegantly simple: gather devoted Alfisti to race cars that had made motorsport history.
